Best Blogs of the Year

To kick off the Blogmas season, (what the heck is Blogmas?)  I’ve decided to take a look back through 2018 and talk about some of my absolute favorite posts from this year. I’m gonna give you my top five favorite posts of the year in chronological order of when they were posted. Links to each post are on the title. Just click it to read that article in a separate tab! I really recommend that you read these, they’re really fun, informative, and inspiring. But, that’s just my opinion. Anyway, let’s dive right in!

RESET

Starting off from the very first day of the year (my birthday fyi….), is the RESET series based on the book by Bob Sorge. I’m only gonna link you to the info post, but you should highly consider reading the whole series. It really can transform your prayer life. The series goes through 20 lessons, one per day, to give your prayer a fresh start. It taught me how to fix so many of the quiet-time problems that I thought there were no solutions too! If you’re looking to step up your prayer game, give this series a try.

The Presents of His Presence 2

This post was part of the super-duper exciting series that I wrote all about the Holy Spirit, going into detail about the different aspects of this highly important part of the Trinity. This particular post goes into an in-depth discussion about who the Holy Spirit is. I highly recommend it to anyone who feels like they don’t really know the Holy Spirit, is new to Christianity or is simply curious.

A Fragile Atheism

Here, I really sat down and took a look at what the atheistic worldview is and is not. Touching topics such as science, separation of church and state, physics, and freedom of religion, I feel that this is a must-read for all Christians, especially those who often find themselves doubting God because of the overwhelming presence of the atheistic viewpoint in modern society.

Hear, you deaf…

In April, I wrote this post about the language that I’m currently studying, American Sign Language. This article covers what sign language is, why I sign, the Deaf community, and why sign language is so important and useful to the Christian evangelist.

And finally…….

The Triangle and the Trinity

Fun fact, my psychology class is actually what inspired me to start working on this post. Based on Sternberg’s Triangular Theory of Love, this post explores the different kinds of love and how these apply to our relationship with God. It’ll give you examples, help you figure out where you are, and help you to work towards improving your relationship with God using psychological and biblical truths. I personally check in with this pretty regularly to see where I’m at.

Alright, friends. That’s it for today, check in tomorrow to see what I’ve got for day 2 of blogmas! Thanks so much for reading! Have a great rest of your day.

Peace and love,

Caitlyn
