Best Christmas Verses

Merry Christmas! It is Blogmas day 3 and today I decided to share with you some of my favorite Bible verses for Christmastime. These verses remind me of why Jesus came, what he did for us, and what the spirit of Christmas is really all about. I hope you enjoy!

  • John 1:14 – The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth
  • Galatians 4:4-5 – But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship
  • Isaiah 7:14 – Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.
  • Titus 3:3-7 – At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.
  • Luke 1:35 – The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.”
  • Romans 12:10 – Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.
  • John 1:9-10 – The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him.

That’s all I’ve got for you today. I really hope you enjoyed these verses and could receive some truth and peace from them. Since Christmas is all about Jesus, we need to focus on His truth of the reason for celebration, and what it all means for us.

Peace and love,

Caitlyn
