Modern Psalms 3

Lord, I have so many enemies,

More than I can count.

They say to me,

“Your God will never get you out.”

But I know you protect me.

You gently lift my chin.

I call out to my Lord

And He answers from His holy mountain.

At night, I lay to sleep.

Only because of You, I later rise.

I will not fear ten thousand men,

Though they attack from every side.

Come, my God!

Please save me from this fate.

Defeat my enemies, Lord,

Those bound up in their hate.

The Lord alone can save.

Please bless those that you love.
